Overall responsibility for all engineering aspects within the plant, including:
• Leading and managing technical-engineering projects within the plant.
• Continuous improvement of existing products/processes, including identifying and characterizing the appropriate tools and technologies to enhance serial production, prototype manufacturing, detailed planning, approval of serial production tools, preparation of product documentation, and transition from development to production.
• Product engineering, configuration management, and version control of all product components, including responsibility for maintaining and updating the product file and its versions.
• Providing engineering support to the production and quality departments, including problem-solving and developing efficient, advanced work processes.
• Ensuring continuity of technical and engineering operations.
• Team management: assigning work and daily tasks, setting priorities, decision-making, performance monitoring, achieving personal and departmental goals, motivating employees, professional guidance and training, and instilling work and behavioral norms.
• Communication with suppliers and customers.
• Selection and procurement of new equipment.
• Establishing and achieving goals for annual and multi-year work plans.
• Failure analysis and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory
• M.Sc. in Materials Engineering – Significant advantage
• 5 years of proven managerial experience in engineering department roles within industrial manufacturing facilitie – Mandatory
• Experience in providing mechanical engineering solutions – Significant advantage
• Proven team management experience – Mandatory
• Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS – Advantage
• Computer literacy – Mandatory
• High-level English – Mandatory
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
